Clarke Quay

Knock-off early today by 5.00pm, come home rest for a while then go to Clarke Quay. Nice and interesting place, just think of how come our government unable to build something like that i.e. restaurants, pubs, night cruise and shopping mall. After dinner, went to the pub for a beer, Cuban Libre. Cuban songs and Cuban dance I guess. Saw few young chap playing with the remote control kite with neon lights. Should get one for my son, but I think it is not cheap. Almost 11.00 plus then only JK turn up, already so tired walk around for a while then go for McD for supper.

Bak Kut Teh

Went to submit my application for employment pass at Employment Pass Service Centre, should exit at Central, cross the bridge and look for Song Fa BakKutTeh, the building just opposite. Had BakKutTeh for breakfast like hot soup not so much like back home with herbs. At the service centre, impressed with the process and people. First class service, your name will be on the TV  screen, no calling and pressing the bell. Very comfortable kind of process. Take MRT and bus No. 254 to office (Bus stand is inside the mall), by 11.00am plus. Whole day raining, just miss my umbrella.

After work, meet up with JK after almost 4 years, look the same and fat a bit. Went to Orchard Road for western food, then to a pub for a drink.

Clementi Mall

After work, went to Clementi Mall, had Korean rice for dinner, bought some groceries.

3-month

First day of work at REL.Wake up by 6.00am, 6.45am walk to the bus station, bus come at 7.05am. Have breakfast then to Finance Department, NCC introduces me around and do the orientation for me. By 6.00pm take the bus, go back, have dinner then come back. Thought of going back as I can only go back after confirmation period of 3 months as the HR mixed up the ticket. Anyway 3 months for me to decide whether I can sustain or not.Will see.

MMG Again

As mentioned to my friends from MMG, never ever thinking of going back to Saudi. One said I should be humble and earn more money and the other said I should not go, looking at my wife condition. After sitting at home for 1 month, I said to myself I should try it out, at least try it out. Of course not easy for everybody surrounding me.

Awaken by 4:30am, have to face it even for the family. Isabel accompanied me downstairs, not easy for her definitely, but she is tough. Taxi waiting 6:00am, wrong turn to LCCT, took another 10 minutes. Checked in, baggage overweight 34.2 kg. To another building, enjoy the Premium Lounge, good also. Rushed back by Aerotrain, boarding by 9:00am. Welcome to Singapore, take a cab to Parc Oasis, Jurong East, met with Roy, young chap. Rest for a while, have lunch nearby together. Called Isabel using Roy phone. 3 Reasons to KSA, the only company offered other than LKW U, Money and SAP. By 7:00pm+ went out with Roy to Jurong Point, bought EZ Link MRT card and SingTel prepaid card, had Wendy’s for dinner.
